A long time ago in a galaxy far far away....I had an exciting opportunity to help redesign ILM.com (which fit nicely with my passion for the movie industry). Given my agency’s strong track record from a previous design project we completed for Industrial Light & Magic, our design team was selected for the role. My team pitched a variety of design concepts to the Industrial Light & Magic redesign committee based on their outlined requirements and requests. We redesigned the website from start-to-finish, including design concepts, establishing UI/UX through the creation of wireframes, and finishing with visual designs. My initial design was selected -- a roll-over looking glass display revealing the pre-rendered special effect shot underneath the post-rendered shot.
Our redesign went on to win a W3 Gold Award for ILM.com.
